4th Edition of the Excellence Celebration

A solemn morning, carefully planned and orchestrated
At 7:30 a.m., the students, proudly dressed in the Foundation’s colours, arrived at the school grounds, marking the beginning of an exceptional day. After meticulous preparations, at 8:20 a.m. we had the honour of welcoming the Founder, whose presence added splendour to the ceremony. Shortly afterwards, at 10:30 a.m., the official guests, partners, and departmental and regional delegates took their seats in an atmosphere of anticipation marked by emotion. At 11:05 a.m., the arrival of the Deputy Prefect, followed at 9:25 a.m. by that of the Prefect, who was welcomed with full honours, including the traditional presentation of a bouquet, set the official and institutional tone for the event.

Musical opening and welcome speech
At 11:15 a.m., the curtain rose with the solemn performance of the national anthem by our school band, a moment of intense patriotism. Then, the primary school pupils recited the Foundation’s Credo, affirming our fundamental values: kindness, trust and perseverance. In a festive atmosphere, the marching band and majorettes gave an energetic performance, kicking off the festivities with a bang. The Headmistress then gave a warm welcome speech, expressing her gratitude to all those involved in educational success.

On Saturday, 21 June 2025, our school celebrated excellence at the 4th annual Fête de l’Excellence, an event that has become a tradition in our educational community. All students, teachers, parents, guests of honour and administrative authorities were in attendance to celebrate success, merit and academic achievement.

Ms Zita presented the results for the English-speaking primary school, followed by Mr Enyougou for the French-speaking primary school, each highlighting the progress, educational innovations and performance of the learners. An educational interlude captivated the audience: the little ones from GS and NS II shared an educational activity, followed by a debate on early childhood education, already demonstrating their expressive abilities. A traditional dance, performed by the secondary school students, punctuated this moment with emotion. Then Mr Prumbo (English-speaking secondary school) and Mr Nkolo (French-speaking secondary school) respectively delivered reports rich in results and prospects for improvement. A second interlude, both informative and creative, was introduced: a performance on different professions, a historical sketch on the history of Cameroon, and a presentation on biodiversity provided cultural and scientific insight.

AWARDS CEREMONY

The atmosphere became electric when the first winners were announced. But before that, artistic performances kept the audience engaged and enthusiastic:

a joyful and touching dance by the kindergarten graduates, and a dance by the Class 6 and Form I pupils, symbolising their academic transition.
