The Fondation Révélation Sainte Thérèse had the honour of hosting the departmental sectoral meeting of the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINSEC) on its premises, concerning educational inspection and administrative coordination of secondary schools in the department of Mefou and Afamba.
Proceedings of the meeting
The meeting opened with a welcome address by the Principal of the Fondation Révélation Sainte Thérèse, who expressed her gratitude at having been chosen to host this major departmental event.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working alongside MINSEC to promote quality education and compliance with national educational standards.
The proceedings then continued under the direction of the department’s educational managers and inspectors.
Several thematic presentations were given, focusing in particular on the administrative management of schools, the supervision of teachers, the preparation of teaching sequences, and the implementation of assessments in accordance with the ministry’s guidelines.
Interactive discussions enabled school heads to share their experiences, difficulties and proposals for improving the quality of secondary education in Mefou and Afamba.
This meeting helped to strengthen cohesion and coordination between secondary schools in the department, while clarifying the official guidelines for a smooth start to the school year.
